當代儒哲唐君毅先生對於我們當如何建立自己的一套價值標準，從而擺脫他人的毀譽之網的這一問題上，多有創見。這一強調基於良知的所思所想以抗衡流俗毀譽的主張，一方面回應當代的文化問題，另一方面則補足傳統儒家的學說，儼然構成一套特別的慎獨之學。本短文即以唐先生《人生之體驗續篇》中〈俗情世間中之毀譽及形上世間〉一節為討論重心，探討唐先生慎獨之學的理論得失及其相關意義。 |
| Abstract |
The issue of ‘praise and blame’ of others is always important as it influences peoples’ actions and mind in certain ways. Tang Junyi considers that moral consciousness is the only effective way for peoples to deal with such an issue. Tang’s theory not only helps complement traditional Confucianism but also helps answer a cultural problem facing modern people, which is the affair of solitariness. This essay is an introduction to Tang’s relevant theory. |
