Continuousness is an ancient and forever problem. It’s one of human essential problems. The reason human is being but nonbeing just the amplification of continuousness. Under the compression of today’s technological civics, this kind of problem is more and more serious and harsh. We don’t think everything could be solved in classic thoughts; however, it’s still an advantageous way to take ancient wisdoms as references. Therefore, focus on Lao-zi, in this paper, I’d like to express the attitude and position of continuousness of Taoism. Within it, I’ll position the philosophical meaning of continuousness and then react by the malady of the Chou cultures to comment scholars’ emphasis on continuousness. Furthermore, with the conviction of harmony and continuousness, I’ll describe in detail Lao-zi’s opinions about continuousness. Last, I’ll make a basic conclusion and suggestions of how could it be possible of continuousness.
