平等權被認為是同志應該如同異性戀者般得以接近使用婚姻制度的原因，然而，本文認為以維持親密關係而言，伴侶制度比起婚姻制度提供更多的信任資源保障。因此以這兩種制度相比，在維持親密關係上伴侶制度更合乎平等權的精神。本文提出信任作為維持親密關係資源的觀點，並比較同志適用婚姻制度及伴侶制度時，引入信任資源的不同。

It is argue that right to equality is the supporting reason why LGBT people should be allowed to access institution of marriage like straight people should. This article have a different view that when it comes to equal support for intimacy of LGBT people, institution of civil partnership provide more resource of trust to maintain intimacy. Therefore among two institutions, civil partnership is in harmony with right to equality in the name of maintaining intimacy. This article suggests the view of trust as a kind of resource maintaining intimacy, and compares what sort of resource of trust do two institutions introduce when it apply to LGBT people.
