摘要

董真卿是元代重要《易》家,著有《周易會通》。董氏回應宋代《易》學的發展,並由梳理歷代《易》學,見出程、朱《易》學的重要性,及程、朱《易》學之後帶出的問題,主要是經傳分合、義理與象占這兩部分該如何會通。本文關注董氏的「會通」理念、對歷代《易》學的系統性評述,與對朱子、胡氏《易》圖及圖說的闡發,以及在體例上會通程、朱《易》的作法。董氏《易》學的貢獻不在提出那些新穎的《易》學主張及釋《易》作法,而是正視宋、元《易》學的重要議題,並提出方法學的反省,並就宋、元《易》學重要成果加以彙整,保存珍貴文獻,在元代《易》學發展具有舉足輕重的地位。

Synopsis

Dong Zhen-qing, the author of Zhouyi Huitong is a famous scholar of Yi Jing studies in the Yuan Dynasty. Dong held different views of Yi Jing in the Song Dynasty. In his careful examination of the Yi Jing studies of the past dynasties, he discovered that Cheng and Zhu’s writings on Yi Jing are crucial and pointed out the significant issues they brought out, especially how to divide the Confucian canon and how to develop a thorough understanding (huitong) of the meaning and the image divination. This article focuses on Dong’s concept of huitong, his systematic commentary on Yi Jing studies of the past dynasties, his interpretation of Zhu and Hu’s graphics of Yi Jing and their explanations, as well as Dong’s ways of huitong Cheng and Zhu’s study of Yi Jing in terms of the format. The contribution of Dong, whose writings may not have provided new interpretations of Yi Jing or new views on Yi Jing studies, lies in his engagement with the important issues raised by Yi Jing studies of the Song and Yuan Dynasty and his reflections on the issues of methodology. Dong has compiled key accomplishments of Yi Jing studies and preserved valuable historical documents. He plays a vital role in the development of Yi Jing studies in the Yuan Dynasty.
